I'm Rabee Kanafani, a composer and producer based in the Netherlands. My passion for storytelling informs every composition, merging classical influences with modern electronic elements. With each piece I make, I try to offer an immersive listening experience, transforming music into a filmic journey.
Through my work, I explore themes of light, darkness, time, identity and everything in between, inviting you on an inward search and an introspective exploration.
That same search carries into my films and photographs. My films begin with sound, and the music shapes the images around it. On the street, I look for what I listen for in music: a quiet moment that people live without noticing it.
